A.R.E. Meeting for 10/12/20

Our group missed several members tonight who have attended quite a while and two who are inquirers. One is interested in reading our minutes while considering if this journey is right for them.

Loving spirits of nine enduring members brightened and uplifted our meeting.

We opened with an invocation, which in part sought light from the mind of God streaming into humanity's minds, love from the heart of God streaming into the hearts of humanity; and from the will of God, let the Purpose Masters know and serve, guide the small wills of humanity to let the plan of love and light work out on earth.

The ARE Vision/Ideal: Global manifestation of oneness, and the Love of God, and all people.

And the ARE Mission Statement: To create opportunities for profound personal change, in body, mind, and spirit through the wisdom found in the Edgar Cayce material.

This week's love experiment sprang out of our reading under the subtitle for this section, Our Search For God. Has any other author described love so many ways, perceptions, facets of God as we read tonight? God is love and love is God. God is all that is; and, all that is is GOD. God is love. Love is our very nature. God is love, our very being.

Experiment:

So this week we are finding out, what happens if we spread love around, as  channels of love?  Or another's perspective of the aforementioned is to love unconditionally.

Then, can we truly love others, unless we first love ourselves? We asked. Is it necessary to work with our shadow side? (As a Jung psychologist termed) info hidden from our awareness, at least until we do or say something out of character.  It also comes up in our dreams and meditations. We repress memories of behaviors we judge as wrong for our value system: anger, hatred, desires to act in anger, perhaps to hurt or harm, among many thoughts feel short of  joyous, rose energy love.  Some will use the Akashic Records Meditation to identify blocks to loving God, others, and self.

We discussed our results of several experiments suggested last week.

When our Zoom clock ran down, we had more proposals coming fast with no time to make a decision; just one group experiment agreed on. Several had experimented, but results reported where far fewer than is typical of these members. 

And this week (and last), several choose to go solo before a decision. We had numerous concepts what love is and under what conditions we can express love. Unconditionally, with personal Akashic Record info from our past, present, or future potential personal data.

Or must we root out unseen, unknown conditions, beliefs, thoughts qualifying people as unlovable, unworthy, despicable, or undeserving due to our negative emotions pressed deeply into our unconscious minds?

Perhaps experimentation will yield answers by next Monday.
