A.R.E. Meeting for 1/27/20

Those of you who were unable to make it were missed by the three dedicated  to the study of Meditation at tonight's meeting. We discussed our previous experiment of writing our ideal out before sleep to direct our dream time to support us in working with our ideal. It was found to help.

We began  our next chapter in the Edgar Cayce Primer. We read a good definition of Meditation and the first of 7 key considerations:  Purpose  Of Meditating.

Next week we can begin reading consideration number 2, in the middle of page 142.

No experiment this week.

Reported with clearer vision,
Sylvia

A.R.E. Meeting for 1/13/20

Three feminine and two masculine souls studied and discussed dreams.  Before the meeting, a discussion on visual perceptions in electronics media occurred. It's interesting how 70 percentage of girls saw the image of a tennis shoe in pink & white colors while 30% , mostly males, saw the same picture as gray and aqua or turquoise colors. There was conversation on effects of vegan and vegetarian diets upon the body's performance, and health versus meat eating, extent of animals consciousness, and intuition. Conversation concluded with would an extremely hungry vegan without any vegetables available eat meat?

After meditation and healing prayers, we discussed the results of our experiment to "intend" to remember our dreams, or to "intend a type of dream" and write them down daily. Most  people recalled dreams and several had written down and shared a dream.

Cindi has a good method of interpreting dreams. She records the dream across the top of the page and draws three columns below her dream. In column 1 she lists all the nouns from the dream. For each noun, she writes the "first thought that noun brings to mind" in Column 2, similar to Freud's "Free Association " Method. She rewrites the dream in story form or the action of the dream without the nouns in column 3.

Now she goes for the  Dreams "State of the Union" message (of the Body, Mind, and Soul)  meaning by simplifying and condensing the dreams story into a few words to produce the dreams lesson, guidance, precognitive message, etc. She also recommends working with a noun or dream symbol by dialoging with a symbol. Why are you in my dream? What are you telling me? What is your purpose for being in my dreams and so forth.

We chose for an experiment to "work with our dreams" by first writing down our Ideal, then continue intending to dream, writing them down immediately upon awakening, and to work with our dreams.  Dr. Puryear emphasizes there is a difference in interpreting dreams versus WORKING WITH dreams. He suggests examining our dreams in relation to our ideal, with an attitude and willingness to work on every aspect of our lives. He has numerous ways to examine our dreams, in relation to its parts, in relation to our other dream images and messages, etc.

Perhaps most importantly, he recommends deciding upon and taking action, a constructive step toward our Ideal.

Happy dream work,
Sylvia Raye

A.R.E. Meeting for 1/6/20

It was so good to see our group well enough and refreshed from holiday celebrations and well nourished by loved ones to be back together, with the exception of our faithful group minutes creator, scribe, research librarian, discussion contributor, Greg. We honored his absence with healing prayers for his wife as she adjusts to short and long range lens vision, the healing solution for cataracts. He is assisting her more in this and handicapping effects during her healing and recovery from a broken wrist and thumb surgery as well.
We are missing him, and John Linder who will be traveling the next 3 weeks and then also taking a sabbatical for a while.

Over candy coated nuts, gifted by Scott, a balance of three masculine and three feminine souls enjoyed discussions of the above and another's upcoming surgery. One member is lamenting the  warehousing care of an elderly parent, why assisted living was created, Intelligent Design, Mike Pompeo publicly denying in stating no that is not an actual law (accepted by legally educated people in USA). It's a political statement (therefore untrue), and the importance of researching multiple sources of information to determine for oneself the Truth, the facts;  one woman's relief in realizing her grandchildren do not need to be in Sunday School and church every Sunday to learn about the power of God, universal principles, and  how the temptations to gain personal power, poor emotional control can turn us to the dark side  from serving the light. This can be seen in the descent from the virgin birth of RaTa, through many incarnations to the lifetime of Bainbridge's serving darkness, via self indulgence, desires of personal gain, psychically cheating people in card games.

Hollywood well shows universal spiritual Truths, in Star Wars and other great films: The Jedi knight to Darth Vader is a fair parallel in that Bainbridge did one good life saving act. During an Indian attack, he slipped into the water, giving his place (and life) on their escape raft to save a woman. Darth Vader's final act saved his son's life. That soul of darkness, Bainbridge, next reincarnated as Edgar Cayce. Every person he read for was an amend to the recipient!  Shinning Great Light.

Finally Eric lead us to our opening prayer, meditation, recognition of white light and discussion of its appearance during meditation, healing prayers, and the study of the Dream chapter of the Edgar Cayce Primer.

June read the opening section, "Dreams - Scenes From The Sixth Sense" and Scott read the section, "The Dimensions of our Dreams." Naturally, dream information triggered dreams we wanted to and did share and discuss.

Next week, we begin our reading on page 135, "Working with versus interpreting our dreams."

We created an experiment to do this week.
1) Consciously intend to remember our dreams before sleep.
2) Have pen and dream journal or recorder at bedside.
3) With eyes closed, focus on recall of colors, places, feelings, people, and details before recording dream in words or sketches or recording.
4) Now we can relieve ourselves
5) Return to do free association to each symbol in the dream before consulting a dream universal symbols dictionary, because our brain is unique. Our experiences and values will give common symbols a different, unique meaning.
6) If you draw an interpretation blank, now consult that symbols dictionary, or your group.
7) Know that you can ask for a dream on whatever you desire to know! Personal guidance, financial investments guidance, healing guidance, etc.

As before our opening prayer, after our 23rd Psalm closure, a Tibetan monk's  begging bowl sounded, and our meeting ended.
