A.R.E. Meeting for 7/29/24

Leader: John

Four students began our session and we were joined by a fifth near the end. In Chapter 2 of Eula Allen’s book “Before the Beginning,” we read to page 16 and stopped at “Mind Is Ever the Builder.”

Experiment:
We each are endowed with Christ Consciousness but through our misuse of free will, we struggle. This week, try to see God or the Christ in everyone.

A.R.E. Meeting for 7/22/24

Leader: John

All five searchers moved into Chapter 2 of Eula Allen’s book “Before the Beginning.” We stopped on page 12 of Chapter 2, right before the last Cayce reading on the page (900-359). It was suggested that we try to reflect on what was read so as to make better sense of the material.

Experiment:
The First Cause was that the created would be a companion with the Creator. During the next week, attempt to contact your Higher Self and ask how you can be more worthy of, and companionable to, the Creator.

A.R.E. Meeting for 7/15/24

Leader: John

After a late start, we reflected on our weekly experiment about the ideals we perceive of our country. We did not read from our book “Before the Beginning” so will pick it up next week at the beginning of Chapter 2.

Experiment:
From 262-106: TRY in your own life, that you do not speak for ONE WHOLE DAY unkindly of any; that you do not say a harsh word to any, about any; and see what a day would bring to you…

A.R.E. Meeting for 7/8/24

Leader: John

Five seekers of old began a new book by Eula Allen called “Before the Beginning.” We read to the end of Chapter 1 and learned how our spirits came to be.

Experiment:
Observe how you think and speak about this country and its leaders. Take responsibility yourself for living more fully some of the ideals upon which the nation was founded. Reflect on how some of our country’s ideals compare to our individual ideals.

A.R.E. Meeting for 7/1/24

Leader: John

Five group members met to discuss our experiment during the week, and then listen to a Cayce lecture on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit (or Ghost) is “the great comforter” within us and can communicate through a small voice, a gentle whisper, or even a feeling.

Experiment: This week, listen for the small, still voice within.
