A.R.E. Meeting for 4/29/24

Four disciples met to help prepare a way of light by studying the lessons as presented in the Essential Edgar Cayce book.  We read the sections of “A Clairvoyant View of Jesus the Man” and “The Second Coming.” We read up to page 279 and will start “Summary of Edgar Cayce’s Esoteric Christianity” next week.
 
Experiment: As we wait the second coming, let us help prepare a way and call on Him to help us in these times. Try to eliminate prejudice, avarice, and vice of all natures that holds sway in the flesh.

A.R.E. Meeting for 4/22/24

Five attuning Cayce disciples met to continue with the lessons as presented in the Essential Edgar Cayce book.  We started Chapter 7, “Esoteric Christianity.” We read up to page 269 and will start “A Clairvoyant View of Jesus the Man” next week.
 
Experiment: In meditation this week, use the Lord’s Prayer to awaken our chakras and attempt to attune ourselves to the Christ Consciousness within. For extra credit, use this attunement to attempt contact directly with Christ.

Four happy Cayce followers met to continue with the lessons as presented in the Essential Edgar Cayce book.  We covered The Cross and the Crown, The Lord Thy God is One, and Love. We read up to page 257 and will start Chapter 7 on Esoteric Christianity next week.
 
Experiment: Life is One, for life is real, life is earnest, and the grave is not the goal (thank you to Longfellow). When all aspects of life are one, all thoughts are one, and everything offers us a lesson. As mentioned in the lesson on Love, in our daily walks of life, do the best we can with what presents itself. Find love in whatever the hands find to do, glorifying the expression “As ye do it unto the least of these, my little ones, ye do it unto me.”

Four patient Cayce followers met to continue with the lessons as presented in the Essential Edgar Cayce book.  We covered Patience, The Open Door, and In His Presence. We read up to page 250 and will start the section on The Cross and the Crown next week.
 
Experiment: Seek to abide in God’s presence and let Him handle our worries and help us to find joy. Keep Him in mind, say a prayer often, then leave everything up to Him.

Five Cayce students united in brotherhood to continue with the lessons as presented in the Essential Edgar Cayce book.  We covered Faith, Virtue and Understanding, and Fellowship. We read up to page 244 and will start the section on Patience next week.
 
Experiment: Brotherhood relates to our personal relationship with other people. Fellowship is our personal relationship to God, which allows us to express love to others. This week, be a role model, and treat others with respect and fairness, regardless of their background or beliefs.
